Our clients came to us with an unusual request: how to fit their two-year old, high-end Gaggenau appliances that have been retro-fitted into the home's original kitchen (one that featured pickled oak cabinetry and fillers in between cabinets - oh the horror!) into a beautiful new kitchen worthy of their custom home. Their home is situated on 25 acres of rolling hills and features soaring windows and idyllic vistas, but somehow, this was lost in their existing kitchen where the domineering peninsula upper and lower cabinets blocked the view to the outside. Our tasks were to improve the flow within the kitchen, create more functional cabinetry with distinct work zones, while integrating the kitchen's aesthetics with its beautiful surroundings, and navigating the different style preferences of our clients.
