Our clients came to us with a full wish list: more storage, more light, more conversation, more kitchen! The old kitchen's footprint was constricted and relegated off to the side of the main floor. How did we achieve such an open, expansive kitchen? We flipped the kitchen to the living/dining area! Now, the kitchen is truly the heart of the home! Having a separate cooktop & wall oven instead of an all-in-one stove frees up prime drawer space below the cooktop and elevates the oven to a more ergonomic height.

No detail was spared in this kitchen. The back of the peninsula, which was formerly occupied by a railing to the split-level family room below, is given the same panel detail as the cabinet doors.
